Product information
Most of BLESSH's jewelry is made of premium stainless steel. This material has an endless list of benefits. The main advantages are that the material is 100% waterproof, hypoallergenic, does not scratch easily, shines beautifully and does not discolor!
Did you know that premium stainless steel is also a very sustainable material? After all, it is 100% recyclable! So good for you and nature.
Besides premium stainless steel jewelry, we also use other materials at BLESSH. Think of precious metals such as 925 silver, 14 or 18 carat gold (rose gold, white gold, yellow gold), gemstones, freshwater pearls and leather.

Wearing & Caring of your BLESSH jewelry
To enjoy your BLESSH jewelry as long as possible, we have listed a few do's and don'ts for you.
Stainless steel, Gold and Silver
- Try to avoid contact with cosmetics (perfume, hair spray, makeup, nail polish remover, body lotion, sunscreen, deodorant) and cleaning products as much as possible. We understand that our customers like to look beautiful, preferably let the cosmetics just mentioned dry or soak in for 30 minutes before putting on your jewelry.
- Do not put your jewelry on until you are dressed, this will prevent you from snagging on a piece of clothing.
- Are you going to exercise, shower, wash your hands, swim, sunbathe or go to the sauna? Then preferably take off your jewelry. Chlorine, in particular, can permanently damage or discolor jewelry.
- Take off your jewelry when you go to sleep.
- Wear your jewelry with as little other jewelry as possible at the same time so that the jewelry cannot rub against each other and scratch the surface. This can also be prevented by layering!
- Put your jewelry in a dark and dry place, separate from each other and with the clasps closed to prevent necklaces or bracelets from getting tangled.
- Periodically polish your jewelry with a soft, lint-free cloth to maintain its original luster and remove dirt that can tarnish it. Use only polishes specifically designed for the material the jewelry is made of.
- Silver jewelry can oxidize (dark tarnish) due to external influences such as the acidity of the skin, outdoor air, etc. The thing is that every skin has a different pH value. This value of your skin affects the process of oxidation (discoloration). Because of this, your jewelry may discolor faster than that of your friend. This oxidation is easily removed with a silver polishing cloth or polishes specially designed for silver.
Gemstones
For gemstones, the same rules apply as for the jewelry described above with the addition:
- Gemstones can absolutely take a beating but are softer and therefore more vulnerable than (precious) metals. Do not wear gemstones during intense efforts. This can damage gemstones more easily or even break them.
- Always wipe the gems dry with a soft lint-free cloth after they get wet. This way, dirt cannot affect the gems and you discharge the gems of absorbed negative energies.
- You can recharge your gems by placing them in moonlight and (not too bright) sunlight.
- Bright sunlight and heat or high temperature fluctuations can cause gemstones to discolor.
Freshwater pearls
To clean Freshwater pearls, no special cleaning agents are needed and you can follow the above instructions for stainless steel jewelry and gemstones.
A damp, lint-free cloth is enough to clean your pearls and give them a fresh shine. Do dry the pearls well after.
